TECHNICAL TEST PT Agate (Manager HRD)
Agate Studio adalah sebuah perusahaan game lokal yang berfokus pada produksi game (Game Console, Mobile, Web dll) dan telah memproduksi 100 game lebih (Football Saga, Shopping Paradise, Sexy Witch, Smash Mania dll) dan kualitasnya setara dengan game Internasional sehinga menyebabkan Nokia dan Microsoft tertarik untuk bekerjasama dengan agate. Perusahaan ini adalah asli buatan anak Indonesia yang sebagian besar foundernya adalah mahasiswa ITB (Arief Widhiyasa 24 tahun).

Soal Tehnikal test
1. Instruction
This test consists of Essay sections and Study Case. Please answer the test in Microsoft Word (.docx) or
PDF format. If you want to attach supporting documents to answer this test, please attach the technical
test answer and all supporting documents, then compress it (.ZIP or .RAR format). You have 5 days to
finished this test.
Essay Sections
1. What program, improvement, and/or operations in HR that you handle the best? Please
elaborate your achievement or accomplishment in HR Department. You can also attach the
items (picture, screenshot, or sample document-the non-confidential one)
2. What do you think about meritocracy as one of the workplace cultures? How would you
describe the best practice of meritocracy in a company?
3. Mention some parameters to issue a warning letter to employee and please state the reason!
4. To your knowledge extent regarding Company Policies, please state any policies that would be
beneficial for both employee and employer!
Study Case:
- PT A (est. 2008) is a game publisher company based on Bandung, Indonesia with 450 employees.
It also had a branch office at Jakarta and Surabaya.
- Based on contract type, the 450 employees are: 150 PKWTT employees, 100 PKWT employees,
and the rest are Trainees.
- PT A had a subsidiary company named BCreative, and it's still “indie studio” which means
doesn’t have any legality aspect.
- Budi is resigned from PT A on January 20, 2021. He is worked from January 2010
- Shafa is hired on February 1, 2021, for BCreative.
- Riska promoted to be a permanent employee on March 1, 2021.
- PT A will hire Robert as English Translator. Robert is a foreign worker from US.
- PT A will hire Daanish as UI/UX Artist as freelance.
- HR Dept will update some company policy related to employee’s annual leave.
